Welcome to Isle & Island, a hilariously satirical weekly comic created by the brilliant humorist Myck Pohvalynskyi. Below is the current issue of Isle & Island. The comic follows the lives of some 16th century colonists who got stranded on a small Pacific island while en route to the New World, and will be published every Monday (a schedule based on extensive consumer research, which involved a calendar and a dart).

For legal information (copyrights, disclaimers, etc.), please go to the "About the Comic" link.

Once you finish reading the current comic, please scroll down to view the ever-fascinating bulletins. And of course, don't forget to read earlier issues of Isle and Island - otherwise, chances are that you'll have no idea what's going on in the story.

Isle & Island Bulletins

October 14th, 2002: A thousand apologies! Indeed, by the start of October, the heavy burden of school work becomes painfully apparent. No, there was no cartoon last Monday, nor was there one on Friday. I would like to remind everyone that this is only the second time that I deviated from the official Isle & Island schedule in the many months of the site's existence. But I fear that I will have to cut the schedule down by half at this point - there will still be new issues on Mondays, but Fridays are out. Once the winter break gets here, we'll see. Really. Would I lie? Well, once again, I apologize and hope you didn't go insane because of humor deprivation over the past week. See you next Monday!
October 4th, 2002: As you may have noticed, this isn't an Isle & Island cartoon. I drew it unfathomable ages ago, and am posting it now because a vast array of school projects has kept me from having time to draw. Monday will also be an unrelated, though still brilliantly humorous, cartoon, but next Friday should see a brand new Isle & Island.
I'm happy to report that the first of what I hope will be many site bugs has been fixed. The "first comic" button should now work fine, and you will be able to conveniently access all past Isle & Islandissues! We thank Mr. Murdoch for helping us track down the bug.
Please visit our sponsors! (I always wanted to say that). If enough people click on the ads at the top of this page, they might actually start paying me for this!  :-)

The Isle & Island site is now fully, completely, and absolutely done. Feel free to bookmark it - you can count on a new comic issue each and every Monday and Friday.
